Meet Sharon
Sharon was born into a pet-loving family, which included Pip the Beagle and Barclay the Bassett Hound, Drew and Myffy the Border Collies, Strawberry and Apple the Netherland Dwarf rabbits, Slither and Slide the Garter snakes, several gerbils called George, Myna birds, tropical and pond fish. If she were a pet, she’d undoubtedly be a Border Collie, embodying their tireless work ethic and boundless love for the great outdoors.
Meet Paul
Raised on an Irish smallholding with Glynnis the cow, Dolly and Bella the horses, Neddy, Biscuit and Peanut the donkeys, Clive the Great Dane, Jessie the Pointer and Entwyn the Poodle, Paul developed a deep bond with animals from an early age. If he were one of our furry friends, he’d surely be a Great Dane, exuding the same calm and gentle demeanour that defines the breed.
Our Journey
We met in 1998, marked by the arrival of Max, a spirited black Labrador, who filled our lives with joy for fifteen wonderful years. We loved nothing more than to take him on long walks, where he’d always find that one muddy puddle. Our family soon expanded to include feline companions Loki and Bailey, as well as pond and marine fish.
Meet Matthew & Charlotte
With the arrival of our children, Matthew and Charlotte, our home became a bustling menagerie of laughter and animal antics as we welcomed Miss Marple, Agatha, Hetty, Rosemary and Thyme, affectionately known as the Chicken Detectives. If Matthew were a pet, he’d be a rabbit because he’s intelligent and inquisitive, and if Charlotte were a pet, she’d be a Persian cat because she’s a gentle loving companion who likes nothing better than to snuggle up on the sofa.
Our Furry Friends
Today our family includes nine clucking chickens, the ever-energetic Bramble, our beloved Springer Spaniel, who loves nothing more than to go on a walk with her best friend Polly, finished off by a swim in the river Whitewater, and our curious and playful cat, Acorn, who enjoys a cosy snuggle on a lazy afternoon.
Our Commitment
From caring for Marian’s horses, and pampering Jo’s cats, to walking Emma’s dogs, we’ve always been the go-to pet-sitters for our friends and family. Having bid farewell to the corporate world, we’re thrilled to dedicate ourselves fully to our passion and welcome even more furry friends into our lives. We take pride in being among the best dog walkers and pet sitters in Hook.
